This is usually fun, and interesting....

Submit your Top 15 teams to me (wormser.rc@gmail.com) and I'll compile the poll. Please don't post them in this thread, email me your poll.

I do not disclose submitted polls. Therefore, your poll will not be ripped apart by the opinions of those on the board.

Rules
1. You must have 15 teams ranked 1-15.
2. If I feel your poll is not legit, I will not use it. Note: I''ve never had to exercise this rule, so I'm sure your poll will be fine.
3. Your poll must be submitted by Tuesday December 29th, 10:00 AM CDT.

Hopefully we can get 20-25 participants, it makes the data more interesting. It is also fun to compare to the current poll to see what 'the people' think compared to 'the experts'.

Have at it.

Terrific. I remember having some fun doing this during the break last year. It's a good way to pass the time, take a look at D-3 hockey as a whole from the first semester and prognosticate how the rest of the season will go.

Will you still be accepting polls containing RIT this year?

They were unranked right Jimmy?;)

Because obviously any team that ties Potsdam does not deserve to be ranked:D

7 polls in.

For the 'lurkers' that aren't actually registered with USCHO, you can submit a poll too if you'd like. Just email it in.

CDT - Central Daylight Time (aka UTC–5), occurs from the second Sunday in March through the first Sunday in November (as of 2007). - Tuesday December 29th will occur during CST (Central Standard Time) (aka UTC–6), ;) ;)

UTC is Coordinated Universal Time, and is similar to and replaced GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) as the basis for the main reference time scale.

It's also known as Unix Time for those of us who use it....

Meterologists use UTC. I was unaware it had replaced GMT though.

GMT is still used, UTC only replaced it "as the basis for the main reference time scale" - On January 1, 1972.

Actually that's Greenwich Meridian Time. Referring to the time as measured on the Greenwich Meridian or 0 degree line of longitude.

This is also referred to colloquially as Zulu (short for Zero Longitude) especially when used for military operations .

Actually, not to be mean, but it is Greenwich Mean Time (http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/what-is-gmt.htm), though admittedly, the average Joe sometimes calls it Greenwich Meridian Time because it is measured from the Greenwich Meridian Line at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.;)

Seriously, it is of a math origin - GMT is Greenwich Mean Time is the mean (average) time that the earth takes to rotate from noon-to-noon.
