“You drive by some of these rinks in the winter and there isn't anybody out there. It's kind of sad, actually...Here it’s go to the rink, pay for your ice time and practice for an hour where we could just walk to the rink and skate for four hours if we wanted to...It was just a lot of fun. I wish I could go back and be eight years old for a couple days" -Neal Broten
Weren't you the SID when SNC was down 4-0 after two to Lawrence and came back to win 5-4?
Quite possibly. I was SID from 88-92, and we played Lawrence at least four times a year back then.
I have lots of useless stuff in my brain - when Tim mentioned another member has joined the 100 point club, the name Bruce Henderson popped in there because I believe he was the first one to reach that plateau - but the scores of individual games against Lawrence apparently isn't in there.
(Well, I do remember one game at Tri County that was something like 11-0... )
Of course, if you look in the Lawrence records, they will note they have one win against SNC. However, that was in Lawrence's first year as a varsity sport, 87-88, and SNC was still club that year and didn't begin NCAA play until the 88-89 season.

Doing a quick scan of the record book, I see a 5-4 SNC win in the 92-93 season, so Cheryl would have been SID.
And, in the 91-92 season. SNC beat Lawrence 6-5 in OT, so that would be the "closest", you could say, because of the bonus hockey. I do see several other one-goal wins for SNC.
