D3 - Neumann Undefeated

Well, a few eyes were opened last night when Neumann Knights came back from 4-1 and tied RIT 4-4 after one overtime period.

Shots were virtually even and RIT started strong but Neumann improved as the game progressed and had the better chances in overtime. Both goalies played well but Neumann has to cut down on penalties if they want to be considered legitimate contenders.

Game two with RIT goes today and if Neumann ties or wins, they will remain in the UNDEFEATED column, for now, anyway.

The season is young but so is the Neumann team. They will be together for two more years and might become a D3 powerhouse. Let's see what happens after today's game.

Fearless prediction: Neumann 5, RIT 2.

It sure was nice to be able to watch the Neumann/RIT game yesterday on streaming video but today, at 4:43, nothing from Sidearm, neither video nor delayed stats....

Perhaps University officials do not appreciate how many parents, familes and friends gather together to watch video, listen to radio or follow the play-by-play stats and how deflated they feel when there is no information or explanation offered. Sure would be nice to see Neumann move up in the hockey world, now that they have graduated from college to university.

The Neumann Ladies Team deserves better treatment.

Sidearm has this neat little "Send us an email" feature that does not work either so trying to contact them during a game is useless.

While I'm at it, it would be good if the announcers had access to the internet so that messages, questions, information or comments could be passed on to them during their broadcasts. It could certainly add to the interest. Perhaps Sidearm will never see this, but maybe it will be forwarded on to them/him/her????

Considering most of the team is Canadian, we should be able to get info for all the games....
I hope they had a good game.
