Glad to see the boys get the split from the trip to the great white north.

I just have to ask... is it too late for us to get Air Force on our schedule for this year, too??? :)

* The "eligible" handle is based on picking a sufficient number of games to be eligible for the Monkey at the end of the season. It is based on the 75-game pick minimum (about 79% of the 95 total regular-season games scheduled for CHA teams) and is a sliding scale through the season. If you are on the "NO" list now, just pick more games and you will eventually move to the "YES" list. I will list the eligibility threshold at the beginning of each week.

Way to go Boys in Blue again!!!

...and thanks Geof.

I wonder if AFA thought things would be different playing a couple of CHA teams to start out this year. Looks to me like they assumed their usual position when they were in the CHA... at the bottom.:o

Super glad to see the Boys in Blue are showing signs of their old selves again.

Hope it keeps up!

We have a new team in the south!!!!

At least that's what it looks like in this excerpt from the USCHO Arena Reporter Recap of the Saturday night game between Air Force and Alabama-???

"Air Force had a chance to close the gap with 3:57 left in the third period when the Falcons pulled their goalie and Alabama-Birmingham took two consecutive penalties. Up six-on-three, the Falcons were repeatedly turned away by Talbot."

UAB must have joined our league when I wasn't looking.:D And they have a goalie neame Talbot too! But hey, I'll take 'em!!! :D :D

NU @ Michigan (1): Michigan
WMU @ UAH (2): Split
BSU @ NMU (2): Split
RMU @ FSU (2): FSU Sweep

Put me down for that, Mike.

I want to be wrong about the UAH result, but WMU has a couple guys who lit the lamp bigtime against the 'Hurst, and we're giving up too many SOG right now.

I really, really want to be wrong about only a split.

Really.

Let me be the first to welcome them to the CHA and say, "WHO Hates Birmingham?!?!?!?" ;) :D

Nah, just CHA/Michigan Challenge Weekend

Some good results in non-conference action for the CHA. Now if Niagara can get their act together and finally get one, but with Michigan on the schedule this week, that could be easier said than done.......
