Russell is seducing. That SOB.

Any way, I wish we were going to LSSU again. I love the soo and that rink was great for us Tech fans, being how quiet it was. It was seriously a lot of fun. I just don't want to see that Bird Flu Mascot ever again.

At least you have a Culvers, and a Wendy's. As far as school goes.....yeah it does suck there.

After the meet the coaches night I am feeling a new confidence in our team. That could be Russell's smooth talking again, but we will just have to wait and find out.

She's not in Marquette. She's in the Soo. There's nothing there.

...what the heck is wrong with you??

Boosh, I know you are kidding around, but lame "insult" posts like this are a large reason why I've tended to avoid Tech/NMU threads over the last few years. :)

I'm missing your point here

:p

NMU sucks

On the other hand there could be long stretches of each team trying to feel the other out and it could end up low-scoring.

Well, if Northern girls are.... um, if you had dated a girl from... rather, "she said...something"... ****, I always screw up these chances for a witty comeback.

I don't even want to think about NMU after what happened at the frigging Giant Trash Bag tonight.
:D :D :D

The Soo sucks!!!! We almost got kicked out of a bar for singing engineers, so I stole 3 glasses from those ********.

Arby's is a plus.

Based on your sig line I thought you were in Marquette. My Bad.

I would go to Five Guys for lunch, but they're clear on the other side of town. So, instead, I'm going to Smashburger (http://www.smashburger.com/).

I tried Smashburger, since they won best new burger in the twin cities or someother award like that, and I wasn't that impressed. You need to get to uptown and try Burger Jones.

S'okay, I've only been here a few months. Before that I was in Marquette.

That might be a better option - I'm heading to Mpls this afternoon anyway, and didn't end up going out for lunch.

Also a good option. :D

Oh, and the best burger I've had in Houghton, since this thread is sortakinda about that area :p, was at the Pilgrim River Steakhouse, just south of Houghton on US 41. The second best was at the bar on top of Franklin Square Inn, but that's changed hands a bunch of times since.

IMO, the best burger in the CC is at the Michigan House in Calumet. Only reasonably-priced joint in the area that has actually cooked my food rare when I specifically requested it rare, and not chickened out on the grounds of avoiding a lawsuit. Not to mention they are very generous with the gorgonzola sauce on their black & blue burger. :D

I only went to Pilgrim River once in four years, and it was on my parents' dime. Nice place, but I'd never go there on a college student's budget.

Oh yeah, hockey...um, go WCHA?

Oh, good call - Michigan House is better than Pilgrim River, both for food and microbrews :D A few years ago Pilgrim River had a $5 burger deal on Monday night when you showed a student ID... haven't been much since then though.
