Nice.
Side note here--When does the PtC start up for this year, and who's running the show?

I heard thru the grapevine that Ashley Scharge is currently unemployed and probably would love the opportunity to run the Plick to Coint for UNM this year!

I'm not sure if that was intentional, but it was hilarious given the context.

On another side note: while watching the Wings/Blues game on TV, I heard the Swedish national anthem. I wonder if we could get someone to learn/sing that when Hansen and Gussy are seniors. I'm sure they'd get a kick out of it.

All right.
Tech just took down Ryerson 3-1. :19 in they injured the Ryerson starting goalie, but the back up seems pretty solid. I have a feeling this might be a pretty exciting exhibition tomorrow!

Just under 16 hours until puck drop! :D

Woo! Don't Stop Believing was The Point's lead in music. Nice to hear Dave and Dave back together on the radio.

Right now, it looks like Northern's game against Wayne State next weekend is going to be the Game of the Week in the GLIAC. Anybody thats not going to be out of town next weekend for the Superior Cup should be at the Superior Dome and be shaking the Fir beams. Joique Bell is there and is an early favorate for the Harlon Hill Award. (D2's Heisman) He is arguably the best Running Back in Detroit since Barry Sanders. Best way to keep him contained is to keep possession of the ball.

I can't get anything to load the sports feed. I'll try re-starting. What are you listening through?

My computer will play the regular WNMU feed, but can't connect to the sports feed. This happened last year, even though I'm on a different computer right now. I also have downloaded the current versions of iTunes and Winamp and have had no luck.

NMU wiped the ice with Ryerson. Final score was 11-2.

NMU had 5 power play goals and two short-handed goals. The 'Cats also scored 8 goals in the 3rd period and there were LOTS of freshmen points. (this is the other part of the reason that there wasn't a Pick to Click for this game... too much work! :p )

Alright boys, let's continue the momentum into next weekend and the rest of the season.

Hope y'all don't mind if I jump in to pass along this story from the Atlanta paper on one of your former players, Nathan Oystrick. Good story, worth the read.
