Great point. University acronyms can have more than one meaning. As if you didn't know which team I was referring to, but then again, your reputation precedes you.

Has the NCAA ever disbanded a team mid-season due to the lack performance??? at this point, the goofs are embarrassing the NCAA, the WCHA, Minnesota, Minneapolis, the game of hockey, and several of the players families. Perhaps CHA could take them in for the rest of the season so the WCHA teams wont have to be harmed by their performance come tournament time.

As bad as MN is, your team could only squeak past them in a pair of one-goal games decided by pucks off skates. Now go away, troll.

You'd have a point if MSU-M didn't change their name every two years. You've worn out your welcome at this point. It's only gonna get worse. Either smarten up, or GTFO.

It's getting better by the minute. Your factless attempt at bullying me around is rather entertaining.

Don't be around me when we face MSU-M. Trust me. Ask con1977, he knows.

Actually, the Brenthoven Meltdown Factor is based on an MSU-M/MN game.

How cheap do you think tickets are going to be for that Friday game if Minnesota gets blown out again against Michigan State?

Actually, embarrassing your lack of knowledge or sense is quite amusing to me. Just what the doctor ordered after tonight's embarrassing loss.

They would have to pay you to take the tickets. Just sayin'.

Anything above $20 is overpaying.

Cripes, the money I pay to have Dish Network seems like overpaying the way these tools are playing right now.

Thank Parise I get the NFL/MLB/NHL/other FoxSports channels with the sports deals. Oh, and the RedZone.

Otherwise I'd stab myself in the groin with a handful of toothpicks, because it'd be less painful.

**** off.

UMD puts together 1.3 seasons of good hockey and you forget about the numerous dismal ones that lead up to it?

By 1.3 seasons, do you mean a good playoff run and and 2 solid though far from spectacular months?

And to add insult to injury, Minnesota loses to Portland in basketball today. That Minnesota mascot shouldn't have messed with God.

I normally don't like to comment about anything but hockey but Portland is a really good NCAA bound team.

"I think once you score a couple, we're not a high-scoring team," Lucia said. "That's the fourth time we've been shut out this year in 13 games, so if you get down by three or four, you're not going to come back and win that game."

I wonder about this comment. There isn't enough scoring talent on this team to come back from a 2-3 goal deficit? Sounds very fatalistic to me.

They destroyed UCLA the previous night.

Will the bandwagon blowup?

Trivia:

Minnesota suffered its worst loss since 1998 as the Gophers were blanked by Michigan 6-0 in the opening game of the College Hockey Showcase on Friday in Ann Arbor, Mich

The Gophers matched a single-season school record with their fourth shutout of the season. Minnesota was also shutout four times in 1955-56 and 1926-27.

Plenty? No. The irony is this same Gophers team shut the Beavers down on the Friday night game more than any other team the Beavers have played this season.

It's over. Start praying they can build the team back up in a few years and not finally turn into the football program which used to be national champions as well back in the day.

Hey you're alive. The thing that really concerns me is the lack of effort last night and other nights. This is a talented team and they're not playing up to their potential. That's a coaching issue.

If you can't be the best, you might as well suffer the best.
