  • Remembering Mark Bavis 9/11/01

A former C.M. Knight, BU Terrier and a gentleman on and off the ice.

Mark was a quality guy and a class act. He is missed by family and friends alike.

I wish all of his loved ones the best, today and always.

Red Sox just honored Mark before tonight's game. Caroline Bavis got to say "Play ball".

And don't forget former Bowdoin goalie Frank Doyle, who died in the Twin Towers . .

I'll never forget seeing Mark and Ace's names scrolling across the bottom of the screen on ESPN as news of their perishing came out. So sad.

Mark was the epitome of a BU Hockey player.
