An article about Jacob Laliberté being selected to Team Canada East http://www.standard-freeholder.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2136828.

“It’s going to be a great experience,” said Laliberte, who’s already penciled in to play NCAA Division I hockey at RPI next season. “It’s a good showcase. Every NHL team has a scout there.”

Ye Gods.

He is still leading the CJHL in goals but not in points. The 7 games that he will miss due to the WJAC might be hard to overcome but the experience will be worth it, just like if RPI loses D'Amigo for the GLI.

Highlights from Cornwall's 10/16 game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtd9P7iQ3iM&feature=player_embedded#.

Hopefully we don't pronounce Laliberté as La-lih-BURR-tea as Smiths Falls' coach says in an interview at the beginning and the announcers say after his assist on the winning goal. At least they liked his pass. :) The play starts with JL taking the faceoff at about 2:22.

The real highlight is watching the dry ice being squirted starting at about 1:14. :D

JL is #18 in white.

Just an average game for this kid. It seems he makes news when he is not the number 1 star of the game. I think we can expect great things from him when he gets to Troy:D

My high school German is failing me:rolleyes: what is the proper pronunciation of JL's last name? And yes, that dry ice highlight was great!

NHL CSB Players to Watch list: http://www.nhl.com/league/ext/pdf/PlayersToWatch.pdf. RPI target Terrence Wallin is listed as a C player. I don't see anyone else mentioned whose name has come up in connection to RPI.

Very disappointing;) I kind of find myself getting used to number 1 star and at least a hat trick. Honestly this kid is just a phenom. A scoring machine. If it were not for his size he would have been a top draft choice already. If and when he gets to RPI-this is really going to be fun to see. :)

The goalie should have let in another goal. ;)

20-12 looks good for the Cy Young award. :D
