NMU Hockey Signs USHL Green Bay Gamblers Defenseman Noah Ganske (6'6" 195lbs) - Bloomington, MN

He will play one more year in Green Bay. Big kid. Green Bay coach Pat Mikesch tells me he’s got good skills and has some offensive upside. Says Ganske will be a nice pickup for NMU!

Will all WCHA schedules come out Wednesday or just NMU's?

Thank you for the information. I'm surprised I haven't seen a press release on the WCHA's website or Twitter account.

Tough, not impossible.

Brutal non-conference schedule with Michigan State, St. Cloud, Cornell & Boston University and then throw in very good WCHA teams like Mankato, Bowling Green, MTU, LSSU, Bemidji, etc makes for a very interesting docket in 2019-20.... NMU will have their work cut out for them next year....

Once again, tough, but not impossible. Marathon, not a sprint. Insert cliche here.

No problem. Just both sides of the scoreboard are the issue. Not too tough a hill to climb.

I'm sure we've got another great goalie lined up.

Scoring? Next person up.

Got awhile before the season starts. Let's just see how it looks come October.

Hawthorne will be a good surprise. He is a strong goaltender with good technical skills and athletic. He stays calm in the net. He is a good signing.

NMU has had great Goaltending recently with Kolwalski, Stewart, Tarkki, Coreau, Tolvanen, etc.... Walt Kyle always had good Goalies when he was at NMU....

Have you had a chance to see him?

Yes. I have seen him play with Port Alberni. He was the main reason they had any chance at all of winning a playoff game.
