And it is only this site. No others.
The powers that be appear unable to secure their site.

Re: pop ups///blockers
Been severe for a couple of days, only on this site so it must be site specific. Hopefully the webmaster can look into it and let us know if the site will be able to resolve the issue or alternately if there is something we might be able to do on our systems. As it is only this particular site I suspect many of us will just avoid contributing and keep dropping by to see if a remedy was executed, but in time it will have a negative impact on viewership. I trust the webmaster will be on this one shortly and we will all be able to enjoy this wonderful site as intended to share everything hockey!

I reported this as well. No need to install any add-ons/blockers, it's being caused by malicious javascript embedded on the site. You can disable javascript for either all sites, or this specific site using your browser's settings. I disabled JS for only this site and I haven't had an issue since.

Re: pop ups///blockers
Yup, there's definitely a problem although, at least in my case, it's showing up only on Edge and, to a lesser extent, Firefox. Nothing on either IE-11 or Chrome although I did get a popup from my Norton-360 that it had blocked an attack while I was on Chrome.
Manifestations on Edge include a pop-up that tells me to download "the new media player" and another popup mimicking Microsoft complete with voice message telling me that my computer is infected and if I don't call the 800 number on the screen my computer will be disabled "to protect the network." (I didn't and it hasn't.) On Firefox, I got a popup telling me to download a new version of Flash but there was nothing to indicate that the popup came from Adobe.
Through a little sleuthing, it appears that the website behind all of this is: alwaysnewsoft.havingupdtogowithyoualwaysactuallygo od.download. (BTW, I don't recommend any visits to that site.)
I can send screenshots of this and the various pop-ups to the moderators if desired."Through the years, we ever will acclaim........"

Re: pop ups///blockers
Just got a bunch of pop ups when I opened USCHO on my phone. Was not getting this before. Only on laptop and only in forums.
Not good! I clicked on the rankings and got a bunch of your system is infected pop ups.
Edit: Just clicked on USCHO link in tweet regarding how top 20 fared and got a bunch of pop ups. Anyone else getting them?
