I JUST realized there is a game on Saturday, so it's time to brush the dust off of the pick'em spreadsheet and get this thing going again.

I combined the first two weeks of the season to avoid having a week with just 1 game.

Similar to last year, we will use a google form to make picks. 1 point will be awarded for a correct winner, 2 points for correctly calling a tie. In general, our weeks will run Thursday to Wednesday, but I may adjust based on scheduled games (I haven't sat down to look at this yet) Results will be posted typically a day after the last game, the following week's schedule should be posted on Monday morning. Picks only count if submitted before puck drop of the game.

For tournaments, cups, etc (like the Icebreaker) without predetermined games, I will post both possible opponents for the second game, and use the pick from the correct game.

Note: If you want to change you picks after you post them, please just resubmit all picks on the form. I will use your latest post.

Let me know if you have any questions. Good Luck!

I started off last season pretty strong, but slowly started forgetting to submit as the year went on... hopefully Iíll commit to the whole season this year! Looking forward to it.

Welcome back!

I believe that I still owe you a slice of your choice in pizza at the JAR, blazer. And, time will be running out sooner than later. :-)

I looked at your schedule and mine and it looks like the Northeastern games are the first chance. You guys have a lot of road games early on... Stupid Disney on Ice is killing you guys. When's the move to the new barn?

This year's bet is the loser has to quit their job and go live in a van down by the river. Piscataqua for me, Pemigewassett for Snivley I'm guessing 😂

Picks are in. Now that I'm retired, maybe my picks will be more successful. Nah... don't think anything can help.

Thanks Mar for running the slickest pick'em on USCHO.

It's Snively, blazer. :)

But, what a coincidence that I grew up in Durham where I moored my 14-ft aluminum row boat on the tidal Oyster River, which is a tributary to your Piscataqua River. But, no living in vans for me, as my house in Thornton ("west of Rte 125") overlooks the Pemigewasset River, as you surmised.

Ha, I was on my phone and couldn't get back to get the spelling right! : (

I had my 14 footer up in Main (York, Cape Neddick) as well and used to cruise the local lakes and rivers when they weren't frozen over before moving across the river to the land of no taxes, just fees.

As far as your house, it was easy to hack and you do have a nice view of the river so you just need a van to complete the set!

Back to hockey, excited to start the year up again and I'm sure my picks will put me somewhere near the top.

Too bad Komey1 is too scared by our skills to come back and run with us!

Mar, I'm running the WCHA Pick 'Em this year and wanted you to know I'm "borrowing" your approach. Hope you don't mind. :)
