Yeah, the Carter Rowney story should have been instructive for him. They had almost identical freshman and sophomore years at UND. One of them is now playing in the Eastern Conference Finals for the Stanley Cup.

But c'est la vie. I wish him the best.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

The reason for the talent in the west? Because MN didn't rely on Canada.

Sounds like a good player. Hope he makes it to campus - a lot can happen in three years.

Without a doubt. As Sioux fans we have seen players not get to campus quite often the last 10 years or so.

Not a bad career for a 7th rounder:

And he managed to make a few bucks in the process.

I missed those days, USCHO was full of new fans every year, and the hatred for other WCHA teams was palpable. I typically got at least one drunk UND freshman fan banned each year. good times.

It's true you're not quite the arsehole you once were, Happy.

And that's probably a loss for all of us.
