They did a good job with the onions.... Now they just need to improve the dogs to go with them!

mookie's country club has big azn hotdogs. not sure why haa doesn't have a big beefy offering like that. along with the fixing bar suggested those would sell like hotcakes. yummmm yummmmm.

tsongas has a nacho bar that is awesome. better than anything hass has to eat.

No idea if it mattered, but I wrote several emails to a guy named Kristof/Kristoffer? about the poor quality of hot dogs and the lack of onions. I made it sound like a matter of national importance. Onions appeared shortly thereafter, but quality obviously remains beyond the reach of Agganis staff.

Maybe more over the top emails would bring change...
        Go BU!

The nachos at TD Garden are great, but you have to get the ones from the separate concession opposite the regular places....in other words, the concessions on the outside edge of the concourse. Piping hot pulled chicken or beef and they layer them with loads of stuff and topped with really tasty cheese. About $10 and worth it.
          Go BU!

seriously. $10 for a stadium concession is NOTHING!!!!

you telling mookie someone (anyone!!) wouldn't be happy with a big hot dog where you can go to a full condiment bar for $8 wouldn't sell bigly? or do a beer and big dog for $16?

people will pay for quality. people get po'd if you sell crap for peanuts.

To interrupt the stirring hot dog and attendance chatter:

With McAvoy and Clayton Keller moving to the next level, Terrier head coach David Quinn sat down with Jonathan Sigal of the Daily Free Press to answer the question: “What’s the state of BU Hockey moving forward?”

Talking at length on Wednesday in his Agganis Arena office, Quinn said that he fully expects junior defensemen John MacLeod (Tampa Bay Lightning) and Brandon Hickey (Calgary Flames) to be back, and the same goes for sophomore forwards Jordan Greenway (Minnesota Wild) and Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson (Boston Bruins).

Yeah, we discussed that a few days ago. That is why they are on to attendance and hot dogs.

The median this season was also up, 0.5% from last season (4,541 vs 4,518) overall and down -1.2% (4,559 vs 4,616) for the regular season. The difference was that this season BU was able to get 1,371 more fans for the 2 playoff games, even though the 2 game average was 46% lower than the regular season average. Also, BU was 1 of only 2 Hockey East teams to see an increase in overall home average attendance, Maine (up 10.6%) being the other team. Looking at just regular season games UMass Lowell (up 2.5%) also saw a small increase along with Maine. Maybe not as good as the first several seasons at Agganis, but better than most other Hockey East teams.

They are still in business televising a lot of college baseball currently
Their contract with hockey east was for 2 years which mercifully is up
The challenge for the league is to get a tV contract
Losing Notre Dame costs the league some games on NBCSN
