Kyle Robinson is someone to keep and eye on. He is from Newfoundland and is playing for Notre Dame Hounds. With recent trend of Hounds committing to Maine a three being eastern Canadians... he might be recruited by Maine.

New recruit... https://twitter.com/zach_aughe/status/1095485404155953158?s=19

Looks like he's probably still two years removed from Orono. I'd like to follow his development, but he seems like it could be a good pickup, nearly a PPG pace is always solid in your current league as long as the development follows.

Hopefully he will get a chance to play in the USHL. It doesn't look like he's been drafted by any team yet, and he's 18 so I'm not sure what to think.

I heard there was a potential recruit from Michigan at the Providence game Saturday, guess he the one...

According to this tweet Aberdeen Wings tendered him, so I think this means they signed him and gave up their first round pick in the NAHL draft... But I am not a hundred percent sure if that is how that works. Maybe someone that knows the NAHL better can comment.

Looks like NAHL rules are different. He essentially only gave up his rights of being drafted in NAHL. So each NAHL gets tenders. Which means they are feeder for USHL. Well with his size I imagine he gets at least an early few rounds, maybe 5th latest USHL draft.

Lewiston received an NAHL expansion team for next season. Very exciting news that will give Maine easier exposure to recruits.

They seem like solid recruits, of course having never seem them its nearly impossible to say. Should be interesting though. Do you expect Bruneski to actually come to Orono next year?

I maintain all umaine recruit stats, including prep players, as well as expected arrival dates in the link at the bottom of my signature.

As for Nick.. he had a very good season. Waiting to see if he gets called up to Tri-City to finish out the season. They are comfortably in first place and chasing the Clark Cup so might not happen.

NIck Capone had already joined the Tri City Storm in the USHL for the remainder of the season.
