Re: RPI Hockey 2016 - 2017 (Part II): In Memory of Ed Weaver

Friday is a must win if we want any shot at being home in the first round. Dartmouth is in 8th on 12, with us in 11th on 8 and a game out of hand (with those being made up on Saturday so we'll be even at that point). Add two more games to the schedule against teams that are also hotly contesting that home slot (9th and 10th presently), so we can definitely make a name for ourselves. We'd need a solid from other teams and probably pull an upset on one or two of the other games (I don't think 3-2 will get it), but it's not outside of the realm of possibility.

There's some white stuff from the sky out here, too. Hopefully things aren't too bad, considering how New England was supposedly going to be hit (no idea if they were or not, I got rid of StalkerBook again)...

Yes, let's win a few for Ed.

McDonald? Only drive through, please... don't stop here.

When I looked out the window at 3 am, nothing had happened yet. When I went out at 8:45 am to clear a path or two, we had 6" of snow.
Still snowing but without the apparent pre-dawn intensity.

We've got over six inches on the ground and it is still snowing with no end in sight.
When does the team leave for Dartmouth? Hope they left yesterday.

I don't think the NCAA would have allowed them to leave yesterday unless it was late night (I think it's 48 hours prior to game IIRC from the by-laws). They can leave today, though.

I think we ended up with about 10/12"... afternoon winds made for drifting so it was hard to tell.

Just .8333... inches? I would think that would only cause a problem in DC and points south.
