  • ECAC preview

I see a WCHA preview thread so I figured I'd start one for the ECAC. If anyone has any predictions/info have at it.

Ok - since this thread is not generating much interest, I'll throw out my mostly uneducated prediction.

    2. Colgate
    3. Princeton
    4. Clarkson
    5. Harvard
    6. St. Lawrence
    7. Cornell
    8. Yale
    9. RPI

Is Quinnipiac gonna keep coming on? They are still thanking Wisconsin for Cianfarano.
I'm a believer in that Clarkson coach.
Princeton's got a little something going on.
If Phoebe Staenz played against everyone like she plays against Minnesota she'd be right up there for ECAC player of the year.
I've got Harvard #4, but one also has to expect them to bounce back toward the top.
ECAC looks like a fun conference.

              1. Quinnipiac
              2. Colgate (no big losses to grad + good recruits = movin' up)
              3. Princeton (ditto)
              4. Cornell (will be the surprise if Freshmen play to potential)
              5. Clarkson
              6. Harvard (may slip lower if Larcom can't fill big skates)
              7. SLU
              8. RPI (will miss playoffs unless Selander is great again)
              9. Yale
              10. Dartmouth
              11. Brown
              12. Union

Could be another win less year for Union. Colgate may surprise. Clarkson still has some scorers. Defense is question mark.

How is the top half+ of this league so strong? It's incredible.
