Powers &8^]I know you are referring to players, but head coach Mike Sullivan played at BU, so that makes 14 NCAA alumni.

Does Scott Wilson not qualify?According to his stats he only played in 24 games this season and none in the finals, so the answer is no.

Got my info from College Hockey Inc. I didn't catch the distinction between players and non-players so I'll take the blame.

A nice accomplishment for our beloved level. Had the cup gone the other way it looks like the number would have still been nice.

Make that 15. Goalie coach Mike Bales was a three year starter for Ohio State from '89-'92.

Wonder if the Pens might ask for an injury exemption.

SLU alum Jacques Martin (assistant coach) can be added to the list as well, as it is his first cup.

That's weird. I can't imagine they'd have let him lift the cup if they weren't going to put his name on.

Hartigan and Motzko lifted it with the Ducks and Hartigan did it again with the Wings.
They have rings..but neither is on the Cup.

Point stands on Hartigan.

Assistant GM Jason Botterill (Michigan) will likely have his name etched for a second time.
