Did you mean the 2012 Beanpot Final? Bill Arnold's goal?

He was out with an undisclosed injury for several games, and now for the past week or two it has listed him with an upper body injury. So I assume he has a concussion.

That's the one, I believe we also lost to BC in OT in 2010 - must've gotten them confused. 2010 was my first Beanpot!

        (fixed my earlier post)

            We're not "old," just seasoned...

While they were regular season losses, there were a couple shockers in 1990-91 that I'll always remember just because of how we lost them. I won't remember the final scores, but we lost to both Colgate and Michigan at home, after having I believe a 5 goal lead in each of them. I know Michigan was around 6-0 or 6-1 at one point in the FIRST period before we fell apart. I think Colgate was the home opener, and we had lost to them in the semis the year before, so the big lead was sweet, until it wasn't.

2010 was 4-3 in regulation. BU made a nice comeback in the 3rd period, but John Muse had some nice saves down the stretch to preserve the victory for BC. However, the 2011 first round game was a 3-2 loss against the Eagles in Overtime.

Mookie was saying that he wasn't as old as those of us who have been recounting some of these games...

Looks like Matt Nieto is going to play tonight.

Curious how others would rank our D for next season assuming no departures? Here's my shot at it.

                              1) MacAvoy
                              2) Fabro
                              3) Hickey
                              4) Somerby
                              5) Krys
                              6) McLeod
                              7) Diffley
                              8) Fortunato
                              9) Switzer

It's tough to rank all d, IMHO. Krys and McLeod couldn't be any more different from each other, tough to say who is better. I see three types here, with ranked order for each:

                                Offense over Defense:
                                Krys
                                Fortunato

                                Defense over Offense
Somerby (though he certainly had a much improved offensive season last year)
                                McLeod
                                Diffley
Switzer (not sure what he brings for offense)

                                The Full Package:
                                McAvoy
Fabro (I have to assume he is good in his own end, if he is a potential Top 10 pick)
                                Hickey
