My wife and I will be there, along with 4 others. I booked the airline flights and car last night. Congratulations to the team on a great playoff series. Also, congrats to UML on a hard fought and well played game. That backhand by Sam... what can you say after that. Lake Placid was fun, the Alumni association did a great job at the Beer Hall in Albany, but, I think Tampa will be the best yet. We have been to several Lightning games there, the rink is very nice. The Bobcats have heart, skill, and do not panic. I think we have a good chance against the other top teams in the country. See everyone in Tampa.

I have a place to stay down in Parrish about 45 minutes form the arena. Working out the logistics (i.e. $$$) for airfare and rental car. I heard yesterday that QU will be offering some sort of package to include airfare, hotel, and tickets to be announced probably tomorrow (Tuesday).

The school has a conference call with the NCAA about the allotment of tickets.

Watching those post-game's, something occurred to me. In 2013 we had, by and large, a Cinderella run to the Frozen Four. This year, they sound like a team on a mission. The seniors have been there and know what it takes, as well as what's needed. They have heart like I haven't seen in 10 years of following this team. Sometimes, heart is more important than skill... this team has both. It should make for a great Frozen Four!

He's not committed yet but it's likely we will be getting Corey Clifton according to his dad via this NY Times article on the Clifton brothers.

Another Clifton brother, Corey, 17, also has played hockey for Christian Brothers Academy and the Hitmen. His father said he was likely to go to Quinnipiac, too, adding, “Corey may end up being the best of all three.”
