Colgate fans, since it's the last weekend of game at Starr, how's the ticket situation there? Usually I can walk up, but given the new arena is coming, wanted to check. I can always call the box office on Monday, but not sure if anyone knows.

Wouldn't you know that #3-8 in the ECAC final standings are still very contested with games in central NY and the North Country this coming weekend.

Harvard & Dartmouth visit the North Country and RPI/Union visit Central NY

Here's hope it looks after Saturday's action (standings reflect 2/20 results and +/- is centered on finishing with the first-round bye)

      3.... +3... Harvard 26... @ Clarkson & SLU
      4.... 0.... SLU 23 hosting Dartmouth & Harvard
      5.... -1... Dartmouth 22 @ SLU & Clarkson
      6.... -1... RPI 22 @ Colgate & Cornell
      7.... -2... Cornell 21 hosting Union & RPI
      8.... -4... Clarkson 19 hosting Harvard & Dart
      9.... -7... Union 16 @ Cornell & Colgate

Hmmm... there's lots of points up for grabs this weekend. First round byes are still available.
      LGR! Go for it!

You can buy tickets online at bleedcolgatemaroon.com. Since you'll be going to the penultimate game, I don't think you'll have trouble getting tickets.

It's conceivable that either or both of Friday's games could be previews of first-round matchups in the ECAC playoffs the following week, though if RPI ends up playing Colgate, it won't be at Starr.

Of course, both RPI and Cornell still have the potential to finish fourth and avoid playing in the first round, while Union has the potential to finish eighth and play a home series against Clarkson.

Feeling mildly optimistic after this past weekend. Not pretty performances, but gutsy.
            . . . still crazy after all these years. . .

February forecast, unseasonably warm but still feels like playoff hockey.

You do know this inside joke is going to continue through to the next arena, yes?

All we have to do this weekend is come out and play the way we did against Q last week and the rest will take care of itself.
Anything less, and we will have to settle less.

Sometimes you just have a team's number, even when a season is in the dumps.

I'm hoping to get out to Fridays game for one final game at Starr Rink. Lot of good memories there.
