Big win last night... now let's make it a big weekend! LGR!

EHF, thanks for starting the thread this morning, picking up where you left off after the Harvard game. (ECAC: 1-0-1 vs the Cantabs )
Ralph, thanks for providing the music. Here's to some old RPI tunes! I have another tune I humbly offer for your listening pleasure.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ku_tXAiwEvE It's Keep Hope Alive by Crystal Method.
The video? Just a typical drive from Cambridge/Allston to Hanover... by way of Paris.

Sound familiar? It's a piece WRPI used at several years ago to introduce the hockey broadcasts.

It's been awhile since I've had WRPI on for the beginning of their broadcast so I don't know what their tune of choice is...
Perhaps they've played this from time to time... I just don't know. But it's some techno/house music DJ Scooter would play
during his show... which is a great radio listen driving home from HFH... following the post-game show.

Maybe RPI could score more goals, have more shots, win more faceoffs, out hit the other team, win the loose puck battles, and have no penalties. The heads of the Debbie Downers on here would explode!

Wait, what? I know that's improbable, so just enjoy the game for what it is.

I just listened to that. I don't think that RPI has changed the intro music in many years, but that doesn't sound familiar to me. Does anyone else know?

Not to me, either. The last time the music changed, there was also a coaching change. I still remember the tune for the Fridgen theme a bit.

My vote would go to Bill Haley and the Comets.

I have been waiting for some of that list patiently for a long time. I think i might just settle for the bit about the faceoffs right now.

That definitely wasn't Bill Haley and the Comets.

All four of the centers on yesterday's line chart are seniors. Maybe it will be better next year.

And aren't most of the recruits centres that also play wing, in order to "address" faceoffs?

But I don't have any idea how good they are at faceoffs. Those stats aren't in any Junior or Midget box score which I have seen.
