Elmira goes up 2-0 on an odd man rush. Wesleyan player was hurt back in Elmira's zone during that play.

Naz has jumped out to a 2-0 lead vs Geneseo. 5 left in the first...

Hobart and Trinity are scoreless after 1. Pretty even period - both teams had some good looks at the net.

Naz now leads Genny 3-0 midway through the second.

Edit: Genny scores on the PP to cut the lead to 3-1.

Geneseo pulls out a 5-3 win.

I don't know what to make of Nazareth, as they host Adrian tomorrow afternoon.

Hobart and Trinity end tied at 1. Heck of a game with plenty of chances at both ends - the goalies stole the show tonight.

Geneseo pulls out a 5-3 win.

I don't know what to make of Nazareth, as they host Adrian tomorrow afternoon.

Special teams played a big role in the game, though Geneseo carried much of the play even while going down 0-3. The Hills, Collins, Marra line just took over the game via the PP. Naz looked like a very solid team, but didn't seem to have the offensive firepower of Geneseo. I'm sure this will continue to be a good rivalry for years.

I'd say Nazareth is better than their record shows. No question your boys should be favored in that game - but Naz can be a dangerous team and is capable of stealing one if Adrian doesn't bring their "A" game. I'd expect them to try to play Adrian physical - they have some guys that can bang bodies around.

That's the impression I got, too.

They almost got one from us in our own barn a couple years ago. And if they want to thump and bang, we can match. It's going to be interesting tomorrow.
