    Nooks sweep!
Tough to win when the team has to study and take enough classes to stay eligible?

UAF made the kind of hockey history on October 10th 2015 that no team wants to claim – the Nanooks became the first NCAA Division I victim of Arizona State.

Kind of eerily similar to getting swept at home by a mediocre LSSU team prior to playing at Anchorage.

Our guys have to get at least one W this weekend for multiple reasons, and I think they know it. If they don't it's going to be a repeat of the 2011-12 12 win season, which was easily Dallas' worst season as coach.
This could be UAA's season as well. A sweep here puts them in prime position for a top 4 spot. It's a favorable, but tough, schedule ahead.

That's right, they have to manage a line up full of eligible players.

"According to NCAA, the (UAF) hockey team used ineligible players in every game played from the 2007-08 season to the 2010-11 season. Over that span, the wins and ties will all become losses. 4 wins and 2 ties came against rival UAA".

        UAF is 56-86-12 vs. UAA.

Well the Huntsville guy is a piece of work, he is on a Sunday drive pointing out about half the crap that is going on and that's just for Huntsville. He doesn't even identify "team mate" or the other 5 for that matter. Bruce has a chance. In reality He has a better chance that the dump bears climbing out of the cellar.

Matt and Dallas get along pretty good but they both want to win so it will be interesting to hear what they have to say about this weekend.

Completely off topic. I know nothing about the game, but I saw on Reddit someone was offering a pro Magic player ~$40K to play the upcoming tournament with a deck including an apparently terrible card (Seance).

Yeah Seance is a really weird, fringe card. Apparently the guy was paying people to burn copies of the card 8 months ago as well. Either he's hoping to cause a major price spike and profit from it (which a niche card suddenly appearing in a winning deck at a Pro Tour can do) or he's just nuts.
