Good for Roy. Hopefully he gets on a roll. Keep it up Huskies.
Exactly. With at-large out of reach (unless maybe we finish 21-14-5) it's nice to see us playing well. The HEA playoffs will be fun, I doubt many teams will want to play us.
another 4pt wknd.. hate to think about that brutal start.. but what might have been..
well.. almost even..
keep it going team.. nice weekend.
As much as I would like to concur with the statement "what might have been"... Schedule is just so weak. It's certainly boosted their place in the standings. They just don't have the depth to go very deep unfortunately. Finally having solid goaltending in Ruck is a huge boost.
By the way, I was a member of the party that very much thought Rawlings was incredibly overrated. I think Ruck is probably better.
Was the large majority not in love with Rawlings? Forgot?
The "large majority" was never in love with Rawlings. Not ever. And not for a moment, especially since the first two shots he saw in his college career (vs Colorado) were goals. The guy put the team on his back and won exactly one crucial game (an epic 1-0 over bu at Matthews). Other than that, he was ordinary at best and outright putrid beyond description at worst. NU would almost certainly have won the 2011 Beanpot had he had even an average night.
As for the "pro ambitions" stuff, a lot of it is just self-serving hype that most of us take with a grain of salt.

I specifically remember people on this forum loving him to death... but other than that I am completely with you. Even that 1-0 win at Matthews over BU? Most of the pucks shot at him that night were directly into his pads.
Re: Northeastern 2015-16: Hobey Roy Kenobi and the Freshman Force
I think the fans were always kind of anti-Rawlings, but Cronin and the media loved him. I was always a frustrated Witt supporter back then. That 2010-2011 season could've been so much better.
