Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH
Turk linked a Toronto Jr Patriots alumni interview with Jacob Hayhurst on the alumni thread. I don't think that this previous one from September 30 with Mike Prapavessis was linked here http://torontopats.podomatic.com/ent...07_25_46-07_00.

Thanks to WaP for the link.Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Newspapers all over the country are closing because they were not able to anticipate the explosion of the internet. There are too many dailies in and around the Capital District and several will end up closing in the next decade.

This doesn't surprise me, given the way the internet is growing. The only possible advantage that the papers still have over independent internet media are the official reporters with press credentials that schools will allow to cover the game as a means of advertising the school, including conferences (before/)after the game. I don't even know if such a credential would be considered for an independent reporter such as WaP, not to mention if there's any capital that would have to go into said recognition. If anything, big kudos has to go to Ken Schott for recognizing this explosion of internet media, embracing it in tandem with his newspaper duties as is evidenced with his radio show, even so far as to its recognition for determining preseason media voting within the ECAC.
