From what I've heard, the power play during the major was lackluster. That's disappointing. This team has to learn to put their foot down on the throat when you've got a team down like that.

Good win though, always happy to beat Vermont.

Watching the game we dominated play in the major (and most of the second from my view). Only had maybe 2 quality attempts in the major though.

10. St Cloud

BC takes first on the heels of 3 convincing wins this week. Hard to vote against a team who's only allowed 6 goals in 9 games. Even though Lowell won twice I'm thinking voters can't ignore Quinns perfect record and unless they spank Nodak all the way to 5 for losing to Badgers I think we drop a spot. Thought BU might be 10 dropping St Cloud to 11 but think they won't get that much credit for beating NU.

I feel like UND should have dropped more... feels like some bias on the part of the western voters are keeping them up a bit. Oh well, polls are pretty meaningless.

Maine will be without forward Nolan Vesey Friday night. He was suspended by Hockey East for a spearing incident at the end of yesterday's game against BC.

Another couple of big games this weekend, and again, the expectation has to be taking at least 3 points.

Still slightly worried about the offense. It was great obviously to get 11 goals in the first two wins of this three game streak, but responding with just 1 in the third game (and a PPG at that) is still making me nervous. Averaging just 2 GPG in 4 league games so far. Of course, giving up 13 goals in 9 total games is **** impressive. Goon always used to talk about regressing to the mean. Can Boyle keep this up? Can the offense get back to what was expected?

One of these days, I'll actually make a home game.
