    Re: BGSU Falcons 2015-16

Nice jump for BG to 10th place in the latest poll!
Nice...but we should have been in the top 10 to begin with.......anyway.

The polls are such a joke, especially this early.
UND is #1, riiiiigggght.....the only goalie they have has played in 3 games and has a career .765 save% and their coach has 2 games HC experience, but they are the best team in the country.......right......
My son goes to UND, so I am not a UND hater, they just are not the best team in the country and their big goalie recruit, Tomek, has yet to even skate at a single practice for them, been injured the whole summer.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, however, after having been absent for so long from any national recognition I, and many others, still relish seeing BG included in that list.

Chris Nell: 13 career starts (14 games), 4 shutouts.

The Western roster has a bunch of very big trees.
'We are the small axe, ready to cut you down...' yah mon. ;-)

Looks like tonight's game is available on video after all:

$6.99 is a pretty good deal too......hopefully the coverage is decent.

Ferrari signs with OHL's Kitchener Rangers

              http://www.kitchenerrangers.com/arti...e-roster-moves

Hmmmmmm.....well it now sounds like just another NCAA DI kid jumping to the OHL once he got some interest. Guess he won't be "homesick" being on the road for 35+ OHL road games on any day of the week.......riiigghhttt.

As Berge said, I guess this is what can happen when you start recruiting higher end kids, talent wise.

anybody know why Mingo didn't make the trip this weekend?
the scratch to Delgadillo and only dressing five D last night doesn't fill me with optimism and joy.

I don't know the whole story, but there was an incident at practice between him and an assistant coach.

Coach Bergeron had a Q & A earlier in the season. It's the assistant coach's turn.

This is a four part series that we will be posting throughout the week.

great read, the Eigner and Schutte Q&A.

                          --------------------------------------------

                          Adam Smith commits to BG.

Born Nov 6 1996 -- Sharon, ONT [18 yrs. ago]
                          Height 6.00 -- Weight 180 [183 cm/82 kg]

"Newmarket Hurricanes alternate captain Adam Smith has confirmed his commitment to join the Bowling Green State University Falcons beginning with the 2016-17 WCHA season.

The 18-year old native of Sharon, Ontario is currently in his third full season patrolling the blueline of the Hurricanes out of the York-Simcoe Express Midget 'AAA' program. After recording a respectable 15 points in 50 regular season contests during his rookie season in 2013-14, finishing third among the 'Canes blueliners, Smith would only play 30 games the following year and notch nine points along the way. His play however, earned Smith a spot on Team OJHL Coffey at the 2014 Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge, recording a single assist in three games played.

Thus far this season, Smith has been a leader on the back-end for the Hurricanes, already matching last season's total with nine points in just 14 games played to not only lead the club's rearguards, but also sit tied for second among all players in scoring."
