Re: WCHA 2015-16: So here's what we think that we know...
Yep, yep, yep.
I did some predictions of this weekend based on historical data, and of course things get affected by all these OT results. If I have time tomorrow before I leave town, I will re-run the entire experiment with tonight's results. I'm 90% sure of how I want to do that.

Your sweaters are ugly as sin, who'd ever want to buy one anyway.
Well I know at least one guy, and that is saying a lot considering he is a Tech alum.
Seriously, I hate raffles. They mess with free enterprise...
For all the years that NMU has played hockey, I've only managed to scrape together TWO jerseys from their program. But at least I think they are the right two for me... and yes, those letters in the nameplates ARE different sizes, who knows why, but both jerseys are from the same season and are made the same crazy way. Must have been a time of limited funding. Check out the font of the "NMU" on the front, directly copied from the MTU jerseys of the same era.

definitely not NMU's best sweaters! They rank right down there with the Huskiess blacks with the silver side panels or ANY jersey with side panels or funky striping patterns. Tech's classic golds are among the best and NMU's current Green's would be, except for the white piping.

As do I, but that's because I've dropped some serious coin over the years to only win two jerseys. Best of the two is the 2002-03 Away jersey. Last of the 'Cat head logo jerseys. The other is the first new style 2004-05 away jersey with the diagonal Wildcats.
Maybe I need to go to a bunch of the recent games that have had low attendance, as my brother has won SIX jerseys. Downside is that the ones he won do not have nameplates on them. Stupid NCAA rules.
Although, I do have quite a collection of minor pro and NHL game worn jerseys of NMU alumni. I need to photograph all of them and start cataloging them like you do JJ.

I took a look at average attendance by team thus far...some of it isn't good.
1. Mankato - 3915
2. Michigan Tech - 3313
3. Bemidji State - 3237
4. Alaska - 2589
5. Bowling Green - 2200
6. Northern Michigan - 1995
7. Lake Superior - 1947
8t. UAA = 1866
8t. Ferris State - 1866
10. Alabama Huntsville - 1724
Numbers are from collegehockeystats.net
Half the conference averaging less than 2000 fans per game is pretty crummy.
can you include capacity?

I added it in parentheses in my original post. I'd take some of the capacity with a grain of salt. UAA, for example, only has around 3,000 seats for sale since they started covering up the upper levels a couple years ago.

Re: WCHA 2015-16: So here's what we think that we know...
I'd be more interested to see how this compares with the same number of home dates a year ago and two years ago. I think for instance we will see Huntsville's attendance start to go up once they get just a little more competitive.

I'd also say that these numbers will likely go up in the next couple months. I know kato's attendance up after the new year traditionally.

We've been around that number for a while. We do better in spring semester when BAMA and AUBURN aren't playing. The one year we got stuck against the Iron Bowl wasn't pretty. It's getting a tick better, but we need wins before it really starts to happen. That first game against Fairbanks to start 2016 was nice, and then we gave up five unanswered goals.
