Well the students have returned and I am sure the team will be on the ice soon for some pre-season. I will be fortunate enough to attend many if not all home games this season. I consider last season another positive building block for the program. So now is the year the Bears have a few more playoff games? I certainly hope so. Let's GO BEARS!

Hey Saints - Bob Ahlfeld has stepped down as CCT PxP. Anyone in D-III land know of a PxP wanting to move to D-I?

Wow thats huge news...Chris Engel I would say is the guy.Already filled... Mike Vailliancourt. From his web page, sounds like he did Liberty Hockey at the college level and some minor pro. If he did, he's used to Canadians. :)

Bummer news heard today. Jon Hall will not be returning to Potsdam this season as he graduated early. I won't say exactly what he will be doing in the near future but I wouldn't be speeding on any Vermont highways. Great for him and thanks for every Jon!

Big loss for the Bears, but can never fault a young man on reaching a personal career goal.

I spoke with Hall a few years ago and he informed of his career ambitions. I heard we have a kid coming in who is pretty good. Thanks Remy.

I remember losing one to the Mounties, Pierre-Luc Belanger (http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=79593) I think - "'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." - Alfred Lord

If I tell him I write for USCHO, do you think he'll let me off...? :D

He's such a gentleman that I would hazard a guess that he would not drive that home to create a wedge between you.

I think that if you stop by Arby's you can get a sand wedge while you wait to putter around :D

The home opener is only days away. I am very excited for this season, even though we lost Jon Hall I am confident in our 'tending situation. The Bears offense should be one of the best that we've had in quite a few years. Friday cannot get here fast enough!

My goal is to catch the Canton/Plattsburgh game Friday, I hope to hear Potsdam won when I stop by Arby's :)

I was thinking about checking out the Canton/Plattsburgh game on Saturday. Even though I am an alum of Canton, I could see myself supporting the Cardinals and Arby's.

It (the Canton/Plattsburgh game) is Saturday!!! :) All this time I was thinking Friday - that makes it FAR easier for me to get there before it starts!!!

If work brings me to Hogansburg Friday, I will try to get to the Potsdam game.

No worries Norm. I will definitely be at the game on Friday (Maxcy) and possibly at Canton on Saturday. Some of us TRUE fans know our schedules by heart.....:D
