I asked around a bit last night at the game and most people had no idea why he was scratched so much. One of the more knowledgeable sources said the Riders have won 4 straight and Carlson is rolling with the lines that have done so. I will try to dig more into it.

I missed this because I didn't expect it, but Austin Cho was invited to the Team Canada East selection camp for the World Jr. A Challenge. The camp will be held starting on 12/6 and the tourney runs 12/13-19. http://overtimesportsnation.com/team...ter-announced/

Edit: the official camp roster http://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/Nat...p/CAN-E-Roster and article http://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/New...-for-2015-wjac.

Thanks. That does make sense and is the same thing that RPI coach Seth Appert does. I guess that I will have to root for CR to start losing.

When the team was first announced Cho was not an invite (I looked). Obviously that must’ve changed when he went to G’Town.
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

I looked too. Wouldn't he have been eligible for Canada West, not Canada East, at the time? I have never seen someone on Canada East from a western league.

Edit: Yes, there are Ontario natives invited to the Canada West camp http://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/New...-for-2015-wjac.

Under coach Ian McNally, Hun has proven in a short period of time it can skate with the best prep teams out there. It has really taken off on the ice gaining notoriety behind USHL-draftee and RPI-commit, Jon Bendorf (17-29-46 last season -- 53-59-112 in two seasons), who is back to lead an offensive unit ...

                      Jon Bendorf, Jr., Hun
USHL-draftee and RPI-commit surpassed 100-point plateau in less than two years after striking for 15 goals and 44 points, earning First Team All-Prep recognition. Has compiled 51 goals and 59 assists for Princeton school.

Ralph we have only seen him briefly twice and one of those was a scrimmage. not much to add at this stage. I can apprecaite his size for certain and he is one of the bigger boys on the ice all the time. Not a speed demon by any means but we plan to see him play again since many of his games are only 45 minutes or an hour away.

As I wrote in post 651, I will also have an opportunity to see him although going to Fort Dupont rink doesn't thrill me. It's in a crappy part of town.

We have the luxury of seeing most games either in or around Princeton. I am pretty sure we could not afford to live there. The remainder of NJ however is worse than you can imagine and you take your life in your hands every time you drive anyplace.
