It seems to me that the surest sign of Babichuk's progress would be if we saw him get more action in the AJHL. He is now 17 and that is about the age when the best players start to get advanced from the AMHL to the AJHL. He has played a couple of games for Sherwood Park (the proverbial "cup of coffee") but I wonder if there is anything preventing them from throwing him into a few more games?

They probably feel that they don't need him at this time, and he would develop better in the midget league. Their youngest current defenseman is almost 1.5 years older than he is.

I think that it was mentioned before, but Fairbanks (Burgess) is "touring" the eastern outposts of the NAHL starting next weekend. http://nahl.stats.pointstreak.com/teamschedule.html?teamid=13174&seasonid=14328

12/11, 12/12 Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton, PA
12/18, 12/19 Middletown, NJ
1/2, 1/3 Aston, PA
1/8, 1/9 Johnstown, PA

I wonder if TB will be at Princeton to see RPI on 1/7. I would expect someone from the RPI coaching staff to watch him in Johnstown since PU is our only game then.

That's correct, he would have been their youngest defenseman, but that would have been an asset for Sherwood Park. Develop a really skilled young defence
man. They have a bunch of veteran dmen, some of which are good and others not so much. Too bad, the kid really should be playing at the AJHL level.

Bendorf (Hun school) a summary may eventually be linked from schedule http://www.hunschool.org/page/Team-Detail?fromId=190347&Team=153354&SeasonLabel=2015+-+2016 (Only the score is up at the moment for the last game.)
Cho only practices at the Team East camp for the WJAC http://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/National-Championships/Men/World-Junior-A/2015/Selection-Camp/CAN-E-Schedule

I will post a summary whenever for Bendorf's game and his previous one as well as for Ohrvall's games over the weekend -- eventually.

Audio interview with Jacob Hayhurst. He says he is coming to RPI next year......credits Praps with pushing him here.....gives very good answers to questions. I particularly like his answers to his lessening role with CR in the USHL..... http://torontopats.podomatic.com/entry/2015-12-02T15_57_26-08_00
