There's still rumors of a Gillette game vs BC as part of Winter Classic, I assume that'd be a conference game. Very strong and interesting OOC schedule on the docket.

If this is a conference game, I sure hope we are not giving up our home game for it.

oh don't worry BC has only given up 3 home games for frozen fenway so I'm sure one more wouldn't be a problem.

in all seriousness, if it is going to be bc/bu at gillette, and why not milk every single possible penny from something, with only 22 conf games there should be room in ooc

It was a true celebration of an amazing season. Nothing somber about it. Some emotional and heartfelt speeches by players who won awards. Eichel especially, when he went up to get his MVP Award. All the hardware was there. Fun to hear Grizz officially announce he was coming back next season.

Wisconsin and Michigan are coming to Agganis in the Fall. Other than the regular season at Notre Dame,the furthest BU is traveling is NYC for Red Hot Hockey.

Don't be so sure. I saw a leaked Pats schedule online today. It shows that the Pats are on the road for the final 3 weeks of the NFL season. They could play the college game during the week before the NHL game.

If you were a GM who missed the chance to draft McDavid but could draft Eichel, wouldn't you be excited by that opportunity? And the value a talented prospect of that level can add to an organization for years to come?

Eichel will be a top 2 line guy in nhl for a long time. prob an all star
McDavid is a generational talent.

Seems like a pretty accurate take from the Hockey News:

He’s succeeded against men in the NCAA. No, he doesn’t deserve to go first overall, but he’s quite the consolation prize. Today in the THN office, we discussed the idea that, while Connor McDavid shapes up to be a dynamic league-changer in the vein of Sidney Crosby, Eichel could be a pure winner in the mold of Jonathan Toews.

A top 2 line guy? Didn't NHL.com poll 9 general managers during the season and 4 of them said they'd take Eichel over MacDavid? Doesn't seem like the gap you make it out to be.

better face of guy? didnt show that lately. there is not one nhl team that would not take mcdavid first now

JE is a great pick and will be all star etc

just not a mcdavid, but they only come along every 15-20 years.

gretzky must be wrong as well. heard him around 2 today on nhl channel. said no gm in league would ever trade him, best in 20 + years.
