Howdy people. I have not been in this neck of the cyber world in some time. Just back from the Springs. Anybody know how many times DU has gotten a shutout in the World Arena? When the last one was?
Did you see where ASU is already wanting to host a Frozen Four? I can't figure out the city of Denver. This Avs-Wings thing next year must be privately-driven. Denver doesn't want another frozen 4, don't want Nascar...the USOC doesn't want Winter Games here; I think Denver is wanting a Super Bowl....and to be the Marijuana Capital of the world. Oh and that bike race too.
I want to be a fan of the best team in college hockey - so that explains why I am a DENVER fan!

I think I know why Denver's on the USOC/IOC sh*t list.

Reposting this from tonight's game thread. ===> I spent a few minutes during the second period intermission speaking with a well-informed, long-time, CC season ticket holder. He told me that talks were held this past week among the Colorado Rockies and the Athletic Directors at CC and DU. The topic of discussion was the possibility of CC and DU playing a game in Coors Field next February [2016] the week before the Colorado Avalanche will play the Detroit Red Wings.<===
I heard this from a well connected DU alum too the weekend before. Also, Notre Dame coming out for a series, Michigan State for Homecoming, and a trip to Boston for BC/BU in October.

Is there something in the DU locker room water or Pez dispenser that makes their bones rot? Zucker and Bennett seem to be fragile. Osteoporosis at such a young age. Carle and Butler were the opposite - maybe not iron, but something heavy like that.
Bad timing 11r, Carle got hurt before all star break and to return mid March
