Yale bounced out of the 16 spot by RMU, I think he is more excited that BC is out.

First off, silly to even look at this this early.
Second, since when have BGSU and DU ever been in the same conference.

DU and Miami would play in a straight bracket; he's showing you the results of that flip.

This is looking like women's hockey with the way things are so heavily tilted towards the west. With the way PWR works, that's going to even out as the season goes on and there is more intra-conference play though and some more Eastern teams start sneaking in.

You can really see the effect of this year's poor OOC record for Hockey East. Only 3 teams in if season ended today.

Mookie already peeking at the PWR in November. Did Mookie become a UNH fan?

Ugh. It's a Monday. And had a screaming kid at 1 am. And I'm editing it now. I could make some good jokes here about mookie peaking early but I won't.

I'm sure he'll make them himself!

It's hard to say who's in better form right now, BU hockey, or mookie.

Way too early to look at the pairwise. January 1 is the day to start - 75% of teams that are in the January 1 pairwise make the tournament.

Of course, this thread isn't serious. It's just mookie trying to pad his lead for Poser of the Year.

Serious question.

Is this a known fact, or, just your guess at what the percentage is?

I can't recall reading anything before on this topic in print or on the board before (it has to have come up, though, one would think) and it has me wondering just what percentage of teams in the top 16 in Pairwise on January 1st actually DO end up being in the tourney, historically.

I thought Priceless had a thread last season where he mentioned this was an actual stat based on the last x number of years, I don't remember what the number of years were. I could be making this all up too, but I think it may be true. :)
