Liked where Larson's head was at with the title, so I pulled the trigger

Are we abandoning the other thread (http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?110692-2014-15-Quinnipiac-Bobcats-Season-Thread)?

So, who will see ice time?

My guesses are:

1) Peca, Anas, St. Denis
2) Smith, Pieper, Pieper
3) T. Clifton, Tiefenworth, Shutt
4) MacMaster, Renouf, Renouf

Federico, Agosta
C. Clifton, Barron
Teows, Smith

Garteig

What do you guys think?

I think the thread title is the kiss of death.

At this point in my life any kiss works. Schvatz knows what I'm talking about

Seems like Rand may want St. Denis to center the second line with one of the pair of brothers (probably the Piepers). I think you might see TSD drop down to the second line and see Smith play on the top line as a winger. I mean, Anas worked out well on the top line last year as a freshman (granted he did play with the Jones twins).

Other than that, looks pretty good. I think there will overall be a lot of movement between lines for the first couple of weeks before they settle down for conference play. Thems the breaks when you have to depend so heavily on your incoming freshman class.

Obviously I have only seen a bit from the Piepers and L. Smith, but boy that second line looks like it could be real key. When QU was at its best a few years ago the first line was certainly important but the second and third lines were truly just as good. Production HAS to come from more than just Peca and Anas. This is not ground-breaking stuff I am talking about but I do think it is worth harping on a bit. So excited for Saturday! Also I like the Federico-Agosta pairing. Talk about veteran leadership, right?

I think I want Agosta back. :(

I wouldn't be surprised to see Federico and Agosta on separate lines just to spread the defensive strength around. Offensively I have no clue what Rand will do. While he's publicly said Peca and Anas will be together, I wouldn't be surprised to see them on different lines either. A lot has to do with how good the Renouf's and Pieper's are.

58 hours until puck drop at The Bank! Outside of Schvatz, Thx and Eagle who else will be there? I know it's a bit of a homecoming so hopefully there will be a great crowd. Just because it's just about, or maybe even completely, sold out doesn't mean it will look that way.

Wish I could make the opener but I'm heading out to Western New York for the Patriots game this weekend. Go Bobcats....At least I will be able to watch via my phone.

Quinnipiac and Boston University sign two-year agreement. Terriers in Hamden next season; QU goes to Agganis Arena in 2016-17. #ECACHockey

Big get for the schedule. Wonder if its a pair of games each year.

Be careful with predicting lines and d pairings. Some people get very touchy about those topics. ;). That said, I think Smith will be with Peca & Anas. 7 of 12 forwards being new blood might be a bit optimistic against a decent Bentley team, first game of the year and coming off the bad exhibition loss. I think Jonzzon may end up seeing some ice time with Barron possibly moving to forward and Fiala getting a go. It's not that I agree with this, I actually really like your combinations. I just think Rand might go with some experience first time out of the gate. Sherbinin also played a bit of forward last year as well if I remember correctly. We shall see. Bentley is predicted by many toward the top of AHA this year so it won't be a walk in the park but it will be nice to see #34 between the pipes.

Will you be at either Lowell game next week? I think you are one of the ones I still have not met in my time on the forum

I'd say that last note is the most concerning, but I get it. Hopefully Peca and Anas can become leaders for the freshmen to show them what you need to do to be successful even in your first year in the college game. I can't blame them though ... I'm nervous for the game Saturday and I'm 24 years old. I should also note that I am not playing.

As my cross country coach told us around prom time in high school, "Gentlemen, prom is the most important moment of your life."

Go Bobcats.

Game day at the Bank.

The start another season with a lot of new faces, but also a lot of unknowns. Some pretty big skates need to be filled and it appears the new guys have the credentials. The key will be how quickly they adapt. For some of them tonight will be a baptism by fire for sure. Bentley will be a good test and cannot be taken lightly.

Go Q!
