Anas not close to returning for the regional.

Do you think this is a Trojan horse tactic?

The barn will be full of Sioux fans. :) BTW, I will be in Boston for the FF, and I think you should buy me a beer. :DGood for you.

I'm hoping! I am surprised that they are giving information about his status when in the past they have always kept pretty silent about such things.

Madison, Shamison.

My kid got tickets for Fargo for 70 bucks or so, the scalpers are asking for 10x that. Wouldn't happen in Madison.

Could also mean there's no chance of him returning, so they don't even care -- they're perfectly willing to say he's out because it doesn't matter.

In the playoffs, NHL teams don't want to give any injury details because then guys will target that area.

I'm sure not flying out East before I drive from Wisconsin to Grand Forks South. ;) I just can't see myself cheering for the Sioux in the second game so I'm hoping you guys have some fans over here that need helping yelling :D

I can see why. After cheering for Tech for so long, cheering for a winner is now a foreign concept to you.

If you cannot make it to Fargo, QU Athletics is hosting a free Bobcats Game Watch at the TD Bank Sports for Free. Game will be shown on QU's four amazing 17' x 10' Video boards. Pep Band, Cheer, IceCats and many more spirit groups are planning to be here.

I'm kind of surprised they aren't sending the Pep Band to Fargo.

From what I heard the Pep Band isn't happy about it. Who knows. Remember they just got back from 3 days in California for the womens basketball tournament and missing the same classes they'd be missing if they went to Fargo

Wonderful NCAA Charges over $1,000 per person "one way" for all passengers traveling above the "37" travel party. This does not include lodging and meals. Sad, Very, Very Sad

I just wanted to wish safe travels to all Bobcats fans heading out west and I am sure your team will do the ECAC proud!

Fargo is apparently already sold out so you know it will be full of North Dakota fans. Hostile?... maybe, but it beats playing in a dead building.
It was sold out months ago. I remember checking before Thanksgiving and it was already sold out. Greenies everywhere.

Incorrect. They were gone in under a minute.

But your school got 400 tickets in their allotment, so I imagine there will be some QU people there.

I'd be surprised if 1/4 of the 400 are sold by QU. There really isn't an easy way to Fargo or cheap flights.

Yikes major QU error in the "16 Teams, 16 Numbers" headlines story:

"Five: Quinnipiac Bobcats players were named all-ECAC Hockey selections last week. Among them is Sam Anas, who scored a natural hat trick in four elapsed minutes in last year’s East Regional (but is unlikely to play this weekend because of a leg injury), and Landon Smith, an all-rookie selection, marking the third time in four years Quinnipiac has landed a player on the all-conference rookie team."
