“Wiff” is the only returning player from last year’s team mainly due to all the players that have gone on to scholarships or major junior hockey (16 in total). Big, strong, heady, leader, playmaker, scorer, grinder, gritty, versatile, good on faceoffs, coachable are all words to describe the player who hobbies include golfing and hanging out with friends. Even though Brady was drafted to the OHL Kingston Frontenacs he aspires to obtain an NCAA scholarship.

Wiffen commits to RPI hockey

The RPI hockey team has received a commitment from forward Brady Wiffen of the Toronto Golden Hawks of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Wiffen, who is expected to join RPI next season is the Golden Hawks' second-leading scorer with six goals and two assists in four games. The 20-year-old Wiffen scored three of those goals in a Sept. 12 game against North York.

Last season, Wiffen had 28 goals and 26 assists in 52 games.

In my listing I use the height and weight that the league site has for simplicity's sake. I realize that one can find all sorts of info, and often none of it is accurate. . The only exception I might make is if the NHL CSB actually weighs and measures the player. It is also possible that his current OJHL listing is still from last season and will eventually be updated.
