A good time to make a new thread.

Union hires Elizabeth "Liz" Keady as an assistant coach.

She replaces Nick Carpenito, who left June 5 to become an assistant coach at Northeastern, his alma mater.

Union announced its incoming class today - http://t.co/KDw4nASjSr

The only surprise is that Alexx Ridding is the only goalie coming in. That means Union will have just two this season, senior starter Shenae Lundberg and Ridding. Two goalies from last season's team opted not to return.

Regardless of what has been said on this site, the players have told the team the following: Dahl decided to end her career as a result of multiple injuries, and Penncott told her teammates she was all done with hockey? ""about 2 months into her season" "even though her mom would beg to differ? just ask her teammates" Union will be fine as the last game showed, Union took the NCAA Divisions 1 Champions into overtime in their last game! and embarrassed The National & ECAC Champions including the Patty Kazmaier winner Jamie Lee Rattray in their last game 2-1 in overtime!!!

Who the eff cares why they left the team? Does it really matter?

As to the end of your post...I hardly think Clarkson was too affected by such a public shaming. Not sure what you're trying to prove/accomplish by calling out Rattray and Clarkson, but you lose on that one.

Just wondering how they embarrassed the ECAC Champions, Cornell?

Well, for one, I was at the game, Clarkson had to win and was expected to do so! At the end of the second period an announcement was made about the trophy being in the house? Clarkson "tied for first place with Cornell" needed the win to clinch the ECAC title. At the end of three (3) Periods they were tied 1-1 "the first and last place teams?" Clarkson needed the win to escape the need to play Cornell for the ECAC Championship, They struggled to get it done regardless of the efforts or ? of the Patty Kaz selections.

Sorry that the picture had to be painted for you!

maybe you should get the game, it was pretty good! then you'll know what Im talking about! 1st vs last everything on the table!

Again, what are you hoping to accomplish by calling out Rattray? Do you really think she's embarrassed when she has her National Championship and her Patty Kaz? Is it jealousy? A NC, and a PK...Two things you'll never have....probably makes you feel pretty bad about yourself and your efforts or "?" in this life.

Keep harping on things nobody cares about (Why you claim Union goalies quit) and keep trying to call out players who accomplished more in a week of sports than you likely have in your entire life.

I'm not calling anybody out, only making a point that the Union Squad did themselves proud and the ECAC clowns showing up with the trophy was almost a joke, let along announcing that the trophy was in the house!

And for your information, you know nothing about me! so your remarks are ignorant!

You not once but twice called out Rattray, once by name saying Union embarrassed her, and once by insinuating that her efforts in said game were perhaps not very good.

Everyone on this forum knows who you are. What's sad is that you're not even a troll, you're really just "THAT" person.

Hey, rfd started this as a new promo thread for the upcoming season. Talk hockey, not trash. Look out the windshield, not the mirror. Y’all know I’ve never been happy with the current coach, but I’ve always tried to frame my comments by what I’ve seen on the ice.
If all you know are rumors, gossip, or creative imaginations, keep it to yourself, unless you can make it incredibly entertaining, not offensive.
                        Just sayin….

Nice to see that some on the women's side are taking their cues from some of the "fans" on the men's side.

Union promoted assistant coach Ali Boe to associate head coach.

Always wondered what this meant because regardless of the title, Claudia is the head coach and Ali will ASSIST her. What's the real difference between assistant coach and associate head coach? Is this just a way to get more money for a longtime assistant ?
