Also incoming goalie Hayden Hockey was taken in the 6th round by the Montreal Canadiens (177th overall). Hawkey shouldn't be here until 2015 though.

It would be nice to see some kind of package for a group trip to either North Dakota or Notre Dame, it should be cheaper than going it alone.....not sure what the interest level would be

Any ideas who may fill the vacancy left by Ben Barr?

Isn't that now Steve Miller's job?

Granted I'm in DC but I got round-trip tickets to Grand Forks for just over 400--which isn't bad at all. I just don't think the school cares enough about hockey to plan some kind of trip.

Steve Miller filled the vacancy left by Jamie Russell. Coach Leaman will have 2 new assistants this year. I have not seen anything about who the other coach may be and was curious.

Jeff-- I assume this is supposed to read 'goals' instead of assists?

Cromwell is a physical player who can use his size and strength to his advantage to win battles along the boards. He chipped in eight assists and added 17 assists in 60 games played this past winter.

Oh, the irony. Imagine the conversations if Ben were still there.

This is an interesting choice. It looks like Coach Leaman used some of his connections to Union. That being said, you would think he would have went after Jason Tapp. The two worked together at Union and Tapp has developed some very good goalies (Kincaid, Grosnik, Stevens) in a short time.
