Truth was Notre Dame reminded them what real power is and put DU and NoDak in their place over ND's own TV deal. They thought they could hardball Notre Dame thinking they had nowhere to go. Hockey East took on Notre Dame TV deal and all, DU and NoDak went scrambling for two more teams, got a lame TV deal, and the rest of the schools ended up on the Island of Misfits.
You nailed it! And many in the college hockey community were saying the same thing while it was happening. North Dakota means about as much in Kalamazoo as Lake Superior, except Western doesn't have to fly to Lake Superior. Denver doesn't mean anything more in Oxford than does Ferris State.

They would have made it. up from the Final Five and the gates of Minnesota and Wisconsin and MTU.

Did you miss the part about not being eligible for Final Five revenues?

How would they have made it up from the Final Five? They were offered no Final Five revenue for at least two years. Would Minnesota have outdrawn Michigan and increased home ice revenue?

You continue to spout your ignorance.
                  But makes no difference.
                  Your program sucks
                  You more than suck
Who cares what drivel you spout. Not a question. A statement.

Please feel free to refute any of those statements. Feel free to illustrate how NMU joining the WCHA with Bemidji would have benefitted the program.

Jimi, your fans deserve all the credit in the world. You've stuck with your team through many lean years. You've been screwed by your athletic department horribly. It's so ridiculous that you didn't get a new arena that would have been a huge plus for the program and community. It looks like you have things on the right track with Matt. He's an incredibly dynamic individual and can be the man to help this team to continue to make great strides. Hopefully people like you and Suze and Seawolf fan can get the grass roots support to grow and get more fans into Sullivan. Keep that loud
