Full Denver schedule will be released next week. Officially they have only released the NCHC schedule but season ticket holders have been given full home schedule which is already in the grid. My guess, with no knowledge of when they will be but based upon available dates for the schools as of now, is Cornell and Michigan State away series will be on the weekends of 12/5-6 and 1/2-3. Don't know which school will be which weekend.

I don't think they are officially the host anymore - but I could be wrong. It's at Webster Bank Arena
From the article, it sounds like the Webster Bank Arena management is the host. "The Quinnipiac University and Union College men's ice hockey teams will compete in the first-ever Frozen Hockey Classic at Webster Bank Arena in Brideport, Conn., as announced by Harbor Yard Sports and Entertainment on Monday, Apr. 14.

No other details currently available, but BU head coach David Quinn had some schedule news at the team's banquet:

Quinn announces team will play Michigan, Michigan State and Union at home. Will travel to Wisconsin.

Because of the weighting of games for record and quality wins bonus, obviously the determination of "home team" is now very important.

This is probably not the best thread to bring this up, but I'm beginning to wonder whether that's true more in theory than reality. I should've bookmarked a snapshot of the PWR at the conclusion of the regular season, but even the final, post post-season PWR buttresses the most obvious point: despite the recent changes to the PWR calculation to account for home/away splits, it's the reformulated RPI (same components, but adjusted weighting) that's now driving the train. And RPI, of course, is independent of WHERE the game was played, accounting only for WHO was played ...

There's now virtually no difference between the late-season PWR and a straight up/down accounting of each team's individual RPI. Look at this season's final PWR: the only deviation in positions 1-20 from a simple rank ordering of RPI is a flipping of positions 6-7; that's it! Since the committee is free to shuffle within bands, unless such flipping occurs at a band margin (and thus results in a team moving up/down a band), such flipping has zero bearing on team selection/seeding. All that posturing about 'tweaking' the PWR to reward adventuresome road scheduling was, in the end, nothing but a red herring. It might please the coaches/ADs to think that their concerns were addressed, but in actuality just playing - and beating - the best teams is what matters, not at all where the games were played.

Me thinks other smart guys will have figured this out too, and the emphasis going forward for every team will be on scheduling a handful of quality NC opponents every year, home, away, neutral site - it really doesn't matter. Juicing your RPI is what counts, so choosing (within the confines of every team's budget, facility, and ambition) a quality NC slate now takes on added importance for every team/league. Let the jockeying for quality opponents begin!

Actually since RPI is so dependent on the winning percentage of your opponent's opponent it behooves you to schedule bottom tier opponents from top conferences.

They may be bottom tier when the contract is agreed up, but may not be when the games actually come to fruition.

Clarkson@ Michigan State for 2 (dates unknown) will host BGSU for 2 in late October (Parents' Weekend).

He also said they still had one game to schedule. Furthermore, it has previously stated on this thread BU will be at RPI, for 8 known NC games: Michigan, MSU, Union, at Wisconsin x2, at RPI, Beanpot x2. Wisconsin and Union should be after Christmas/in January. Coach Quinn also announced BU will play the U.S. World Junior team on 19 December at Walter Brown Arena.
