With USA Hockey releasing their preliminary roster for the 2014 World Junior Classic yesterday morning, I thought I would get a thread started for the World Juniors. Below you will find the preliminary roster, Team USA's schedule, the schedule for the medal round, etc....

I will be updating the roster as Team USA makes changes. They need to get down to 23 players from 26 by the start of the tournament. Keep in mind, they do have the option of adding players that are not currently on this roster.

I will also be updating the schedule and the stats throughout the tournament, so that the standings, scores, and stats will be easy to reference during discussion.

While we wait for the games, feel free to check out this page I created with highlights from Team USA's Greatest Moments.

Not like it should really matter, but shouldn't the promoted team be in the same group as the gold medal team? I WANT NORWAY!!! So I can taunt my Norwegian co-worker, who doesn't care about sports, when the US beats Norway.

Looking at your player stats chart above, it doesn't look like any of the players are doing very well.

NHL Network will cover USA and, I assume, Canada games. I just pray they use TSN for everything.

1. Does anyone know if the games will be webcast or just cable.
2. I assume all times listed in the thread are local (Sweden) game times, is that correct?

Times listed are Eastern Standard time (US). If I see something on a webcast, I will post in here.
