Well considering that Alabama has scored just six goals in six games, we should on paper.......

In honor of the Chargers' first trip to Alaska in 20 years, I wrote an article for uahhockey.com looking back at the period when UAH played (and visited) UAA and UAF regularly:

Good write up! Knuckle Bump to you!
Which of these did you like best?
“UAH is 8-27-1 all time against the Seawolves and Nanooks. And two of those wins were losses switched because they were later forfeited by Fairbanks.”
Or
“I remember that our goalies had it pretty rough as all their angles were off. They also seemed to get a lot of help from the hometown refs.”;)

They should be well rested with a 11:07 start @ Huntsville time.

I think it's 10:07 Central Time (+3 since Daylight Savings is over). For me it'll be 11:07 since I live in North Carolina. But that's OK -- I'm an Oakland A's fan out here, so I'm used to staying up late for my team. :)

Go Chargers!

I personally like, "and 0-11 in Anchorage". Let's make it too lucky number 13! Knock-on-wood

We homered everyone back in the day! Well known fact in college hockey circles.

I haven't heard if anyone has. I want us to play the double one year on back-to-back weekends and make a big trip out of it. That's unlikely, though. Our coach probably got mad for me voicing that idea out loud. But as Michael noted in that piece on the writeup, it's something that used to regularly with our trips up that way.

I rest certain in one thing: no matter how the weekend goes, Alabama is still going to be alphabetically #1 in the country. ;)

GFM <— gonna get a good nap in before the game

There are quite a few players from BC and other western Canadian areas, so this might qualify as a "short" trip for them, might see some of them there.

Yeah, I would expect that a chunk of them are going to make the trip. I just don't know of any Huntsville people that are going.

From woody, Gunderson in goal tonight for UAA, brad duwe is expected to make his debut tonight, and back to the 11 forwards 7 defenseman lineup.
