Will Fridays game be webcast as well as broadcast on NESN, or does NESN have exclusive rights to the game?

Don't let the score fool you. If it weren't for a stellar effort from the SHU goalie (he faced 54 shots, gave up 5 goals, and was named all-tourney goalie and MVP... go figure) and the fact that SHU was just plain terrible, this could have been another AIC debacle. We were better tonight than last night but in no way were we playing up to our potential. This should have been a double-digit win, plain and simple.

They need to find that cohesiveness they had during the unbeaten streak. Still way too many lapses defensively and not enough second and third chances being capitalized on. The only good I saw tonight was the power play. It looked better than it has in a while but keep in mind that SHU was not very good. Perhaps this will provide some spark going forward.

I'm normally as optimistic as they come around here, but I still see a lot of room for improvement. And it will need to happen soon if they want to make a strong run in the 2nd half. Friday will be a really good test. Say what you want about Maine, but they're playing some good hockey and are going to give us a tough game. Plus, you all know what Larson will be like if they happen to win!

Makes you wonder what the heck they were doing in the first period. Nine SOG? That's awful. They should be embarrassed with that effort.
SHU had 3 or 4 shots in the first couple of minutes until the defense settled down. On a good note, we blocked a ton of shots before they ever got close to Garteig. Gonna be a lot of bumps and bruises tomorrow.

There will be a free YouTube video, but it will be the feed from the scoreboard, not the NESN feed. Check QuinnipiacBobcats.com for the link on Friday.

Well, now that the Jets season is over you should have the time to keep up. Oh wait. Their season was over around the first week of September. Never mind!

Ryan Finnegan looks to be a very solid pick up. The question is how much more he will grow. Also I'd expect him to move to a different hockey club maybe in the future as Skipjacks has only U16 and U18 programs. Might be better for him to get some higher end experience whether in the Premier division of the USPHL down the road or make the move to the USHL.

Here is his link to his skipjacks hockey page.

Ryan will make a huge impact! I am proud to say that I was his first coach and coached him from mini-mite up through squirts and followed his progress ever since. "He's too small, He's too small, will he grow..." I've heard all this said about him his entire career, funny thing is that Ryan never listens to any of that. This kid has the heart of a lion and plays like he's 7'-0" tall, 280lbs and can stick handle and skate like the wind! I always joked whenever I heard comments about his size that "they better not tell Ryan that cause he thinks he's the biggest player out there!" . Great pickup for Quinnipaic! I'm looking forward to seeing him kick some *** up there!

The 2016-17 class is looking pretty good for forwards right now with Johnny DeRoche, Ryan Finnegan and DJ Petruzelli.

Boom....Landon Smith is heading to Quinnipiac per Chris Heisenberg's list. Huge get. Immediately replaces Peter Quenneville for next year among others leaving.

Such a huge pick up. Has 59 points to lead the bchl. Great day for the bobcats. He'll help pick up the points that we'll lose without the Jones' and Jst

The Bobcats look to be a powerhouse the next 4-5 years.
                              Rand, Bill and Reid....great work.

At least I don't have to deal with any Bills talk in my household! I believe we can both settle on the Timbers anyway!

Pretty jazzed to hear QU picked up Landon Smith. Seems like a big-time get for those Bobcats, who continue to establish themselves as a recruiting powerhouse! Bodes well for the future!

Hope everyone had a happy and safe New Years! Here's to hoping the blizzard doesn't hit too hard tomorrow so myself, Thx, and even Larson can make the trip to the Bank!
