    Unfortunately, it is baseball.

"Her campaign may be helped by a growing wave of interest in Orange baseball. The school, which has joined the Atlantic Coast Conference, will be the only member without a varsity baseball team. Onondaga County Comptroller Bob Antonacci and state Sen. John DeFrancisco - who played varsity baseball at Syracuse - have lobbied for years for a revival of the sport."

“To begin, since Bud Poliquin wrote that last piece about baseball here at Syracuse, our phones have lit up. I don’t know what other followings Bud has, but on the subject of baseball at Syracuse, people are reading him."

Not surprising, they've been talking about SU baseball for a while around here. The biggest thing is that if SU were to move up their men's team, they'd have to build or upgrade a rink. Tennity is WAY too small, and the War Memorial is booked solid.
