    2013 D3 Pro Signings

    Player signings in the ECHL, SPHL, CHL, AHL have started. Several players signed at the end of last season. Anyone have any news on their plans for this year?

    Brad Nunn - Fredonia
    Nick Craven - Wesleyan
    Will Aide -UWSP
    Nick Broadwater - Hobart
    Alex Milley - Bowdoin
    Rob Florentino - UM Boston
    Nick Dupuis - Skidmore

    Norwich update:

    Pier-Olivier Cotnoir will be playing in Germany next season with former Cadet captain Chad Anderson '11. Currently he is playing in Australia.

    Kyle Thomas had knee surgery after the season and I expect he will latch on SOMEWHERE for next season.

    Tory Allan is hoping to continue playing somewhere as is Colin Mulvey I think.

    I believe Blake Forkey is hanging up the skates and I believe is going to pursue medical school.

      Will Aide signed with Columbus mid season last year after he was kicked of the Pointers squad.

        Norwich's Kyle Thomas has signed with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL.

              He's a treat to watch. His speed will remind you of Musselwhite. Neil developed a bit more of a shot though than Kyle had at Norwich. I'm hoping Kyle bulks up a bit and develops the rest of his game more and he could really progress up the ladder. It wouldn't shock me if he made the AHL sooner rather than later.

                For whatever reason, Kyle didn't progress in all aspects of his game as much as some of the other players I have seen at Norwich. Don't get me wrong, he was always an excellent player, but seemed almost as much a raw talent when he finished as when he started at Norwich. Other guys become more polished as they "age." Great talent - I hope he can do well.

                  from what I watched,on the computer, his was very fast and his hands were a few steps/moments behind,this may come together with more hockey??

                    Just my opinion but in the NCAA Final Four games Kyle Thomas was one of the Norwich players who played at a very high level and seem to improve with the competition. Sort of like Nikita Kashirsky who has had a good career in the ECHL and played some in the AHL.
