Two teams in the Frozen Four now and now they think they're the new league power. Sorry EZAC, you haven't won anything yet. Even if you do take home the Championchip, its still only one compared to the stacks of Championchips that the WCHA has. ;)

here fishy fishy fishy!!!

Are there any teams other than BC and BU out East?

Edit: that's right. Cornell is out east and so is Mass Lowell.

Harvard is out there somewhere. Used to be anyway, I'm not sure. No one has heard from them in 24 years.

Why do people continually look to the past to judge how good teams are presently?? WCHA won 37 championships. Nice accomplishment. How much does it mean about how good the WCHA is now? Nothing.

And why do the up and comers (allegedly) want to be counted as a "real" (for lack of a better term) team due to one year's success? They could be a one-hit wonder? Works both ways. Just sayin'.

5 (Cornell x2, RPI x2, Harvard)

That is by current members. One of RPI's was before the ECAC was started, and BU also won while a member of the ECAC.

BU's counts then. Pretty sure the WCHA is counting Michigan, MSU, etc.

Sure that's true. But I'd rather live in the moment and enjoy what's happening presently. And what is happening presently is the WCHA is bad and the ECAC is good.
