Great sweep for the Beavers over a good Alaska team. Tonight's game was a toss-up. Walsh made a great save with just a couple minutes in regulation. The Beavers again, could not score 5 on 3 or the traditional power play. Ward got the winner in OT. The win was especially good for the Beavers since they would not have won this game the past couple years.

I'll take responsibility for the Saturday night win. Had to work until 8, so I walked in when we were down 1-2 and watched us come back to win! Good sweep for the Beavs, when's the last time we swept at home?

Leo did play in the Friday game against Mankato. He was a scratch on Saturday. I would expect to see him in the line up this weekend, at least for one of the games.

It's actually a bit chilly here. I think the high today was in the low 40s. It's 36F at the airport right now, and it'll drop below freezing again tonight. There was a little wintry stuff in spots today, but I'm not sure that it even made it to the ground. It definitely feels like hockey weather.

If this keeps up like they are saying, it won't be long before we can play hockey "au natural".
