All I can base it on is David Boehm's path to BSU. He was with UMass, then took a year off and played in the USHL, and then still had to complete one year of "residency" at Bemidji State before being eligible. That "residency" was a red shirt year, so he still had two years of hockey left.

Following the same path for Parker, one year at Maine and a year off with injury/playing in the EJHL, I would think he still has to complete a year of "residency" at Bemidji State before being able to play. Now, if he still has his red shirt left, he can use that and still get three years in with the Beavers.
He was enrolled at Maine for the Fall semester of 2012, but never played a game. He probably won't play this year, but he should have three years of eligibility left. I think he is going to be a good player.

Yeah, it is going to depend on how the NCAA views that enrollment. Will they count that as his red shirt year? If so, then he will only have two years left at BSU since the year he has to sit out due to residency will count against his "five to play four" clock

      2011-12 Played at Maine
2012-13 Enrolled at Maine in fall, injured, played Junior Hockey
2013-14 Residency at BSU, sitting out one year transfer requirement
      2014-15 Eligible at BSU
      2015-16 Eligible at BSU
2016-17 Possibly Eligible depending on how the NCAA views 2012-13

Nothing can be simple with the NCAA......

Hey, one beer is way cheaper than a full slab.

Corey Petrash has really started to look good at the end of the year. He is a bit undersized but plays with alot of grit and toughness. I think another year in Juniors would do him wonders.

Took in a fargo force game Sat to get live hockey fix and watch Beaver commitment, Brendan Harms. One shorthand goal and two assists for the night. He looks as though he will contribute to our scoring as a freshman! Encouraging

The thing about Harms is that he will come into school as basically a true freshman, age wise. Yes, he has played quite a bit of Junior Hockey, but he will be 19 when the year starts.

He has been showing up on some NHL Draft Lists as well, so that will be interesting as well.
